Elixir

Elixir is a very rich, warm-spicy, aromatic-woody men’s fragrance that takes the DNA of the original Sauvage and makes it darker, denser, and more mature.

Elixir is less fresh,ambroxan and more warm, spicy, and woody, giving a darker, more “grown-up” impression suited to evening wear. It is highly concentrated, projects strongly and lasts many hours, often well over a full working day on skin.The vibe is confident, masculine, and somewhat formal: more “mature gentleman at night in cooler weather” than casual daytime blue fragrance.

Works best in autumn and winter, in the evening, for dates, events, or nights out where a bold scent is appropriate. It tends to appeal to those who like spicy, woody, slightly sweet power fragrances and find the original Sauvage a bit too bright or youthful.

The opening is bright and powerful, built around spicy cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom, cut by a sharp grapefruit note that adds freshness and bite.

The heart is dominated by a “tailor-made” lavender that feels aromatic, slightly herbal, and smooth rather than barbershop-soapy.

The base is deep and warm with licorice, sandalwood, amber, patchouli, and Haitian vetiver, giving a sweet-woody, slightly resinous and earthy drydown that feels very persistent and enveloping.
